Although I used to do fun and relaxing things like travel and read, I spend more and more time these days trying to keep up with two kids (Zoe 5 and Timmy 11) and their sports and social lives. Sound familiar? Lately, I've been wondering how I could have a middle schooler already -- hmmm, it's because I've been married to my husband, Tim, almost 14 years.
For the last six years I have worked as an independent consultant doing projects for nonprofits and foundations. It's been a great way to keep working and spend time with my kids.
Our latest adventure was a two-year remodeling project on our house (never again), so I'm guessing we'll stay put where we are for quite a while.
Whenever I can, I like to spend time walking the Mpls.
lakes, going to movies and having margaritas with friends (what did you
expect, I'd be doing triathalons?!). Maybe that's in store for the next ten
years...right.
